sf i understand what your saying but group punishment isnt the answer, more of telling people to suck it up and deal with it is, and picking mods that actually dont put up with the shit starters bs would do wonders,it was getting to the point where there were waaaayy to many mods and for what reason? i did everything you asked and feel like i was punishied. I know first hand that there are people coming to me saying that I was one of the best mods ever, regaurdless of the complaints, those were the thin shkinned shit starters. I say pick your mods and back them up and trust them, if someone want to whine about them tell them to deal with it or leave. I definantly wouldnt have anyone work for me that I didnt trust fully!!! mods are needed but yes I agree there are those that have power and control issues, but I cant stand going where some dickhead can run his mouth about some of the good people and nothing can be done!

From what I've seen, you cause drama just as much as anyone else. I've ALSO seen you abuse your power and I disagree with the "I was one of the best mods ever" statement you made. In my opinion, you were one of the worst.

Mr Big, isn't trying to start a flame war with Sally in the forum kind of starting shit? I know who's done what and who's accused who of doing what, I'm the one that gets the reports. This is exactly why we no longer have mods, the backstabbing, taddle-taling, arguing, name calling, and ego trips were all too much, all of this from the people that are supposed to be moderating the rooms, not starting the trouble themselves.

I even made Jakester an admin to try and moderate the moderators since he was one of the most laid back mods we had. He went from a laid back person to an increasingly frustrated angry person having to deal with the constant nonsense. A person that is supposed to moderate the moderators really shouldn't have to do much I'm sure you would all agree.
I didn't get rid of the mods as a punishment, I got rid of them because they became more of a headache than they were worth. I'm not making any regular members mods again, bottom line, it's just not going to happen. Again, it's not a punishment, it just simply doesn't work so it doesn't make sense to keep them.
its true that i've only been here for a few days... but here's the black and white that all of ya'll fail to realize. When Spencer decides to do what he feels is beneficial to the chatrooms, then he will do it. Until then, all we are doing is sitting around and bitching about something that's in our control already.
Someone's harrassing you? block them. You can't block them, ignore them. As far as they're concerned, they're just a name on the screen. Now, as far as family goes... now, i love ya'll just as much as i love my own family. If you don't like what's going on... suck it up and drive on. You're not in charge. Point blank viewpoint is that there's no point bitching about something that is going to be handled when he feels the time is right in a manner that pleases him, as well as a manner that is beneficial to the site in general.
I know this may sound harsh, but that's how things are. i agree with someone's previous arguement. (i don't remember off the top of my head who it was that said this, but i'll restate what was said.) SOme peopel come in because they wanna get their rocks off by tickin' the regulars off. ignore them. focus on those who are friends and/or family. Otherwise, your bad mood will be turned into someone elses, and the circle will continue.
As far as drama goes... GET OVER IT. Mods are done and gone. so, now, if you have a problem with someone, you can discuss it with them on a one-on-one basis AND NOT IN FRONT OF EVERYONE in the room. WE DON"T WANNA HEAR YOUR DRAMA or complaints about what a mod did. it's done and its over. MOVE ON.
Spencer, youre the architect of this room. therefore, it is up to you. we may not like what you have decided, but if htis community is going to survive, we do have to accept the decisions that have been made and adapt to the ones in the future.
i thought the forum was about mods.....how did it get to be a personal attack on me....oh well its not like i care, it dont matter to me...m i no i pissed ppl off but in the same ive got many friends from oohya...im better then to exchange insults....so rock on spencer i love how u handled everything!!!!...wheter its with mods or with out mods...it wont keep me away caz oohya is by far one of the best chat rooms ive been to...and believe i have been to many:S
Why cant we turn time back to bout a year ago... it was sooo much peaceful then... everyone got along... NO DRAMA... NO PERVS... well if there was they didnt bother anyone...
