There is currently no way to delete your own profile, however there are a couple of things you can do if you wish to delete your profile:

The first is simple.

Since OohYa Chat is free you can simply delete your information on your profile and walk away, the only thing that would be left is your username and a blank profile. To do this click "my profile" from the user menu on the left, once at your profile mouse over the "edit" tab at the top left, click "update profile", then simply delete your information and click "update" at the bottom.

The second thing you can do is shoot us an email through the "contact us" link at the top of the page and request to have your profile deleted. There is NO guarantee as to when or if your profile will be removed as it is difficult to keep up with the requests manually. If for some reason you want your profile removed immediately I recomend simply removing your information from your profile as mentioned above before submitting the request to delete the account.

Again, OohYa is free so simply removing your info from your profile and abandoning it is fine. It will most likely get deleted after it has sat without activity for a while eventually anyway.

* NOTE: In order for us to delete your profile you must send the request from the email address you used to register. This is required to prevent people from having other people's profiles deleted.

** NOTE: OohYa is not responsible for how you choose to use the service. Please know that how you conduct yourself online has consequenses the same as in real life. If you are in a relationship and choose to use oohya.net to cheat on your partner and they find out, demanding that we delete your profile will not solve your problems. Again it may be sometime before we are able to delete your account so please simply clear your data from your profile if it is a perceived emergency. OohYa does not condone cheating and will not drop everything just to help you cover your ass. The same goes for adding adult material or private information to your profile, if someone finds your profile that you didn't want to, demanding we remove it will most likely not be done immediately, your best bet is to remove the content from your profile yourself and think hard about what you decide to put on a public profile on the internet for everyone to see from now on. OohYa does not condone stupidity and is not responsible for actions performed by it's members in such moments of stupidity.
